A school district in Mill Valley, CA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker for the upcoming school year contract. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students and families by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs within the school community.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing cases for students and families by connecting them to relevant community resources and services
• Providing counseling and emotional support to students facing various challenges
• Conducting home visits to assess family environments and offer guidance
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to promote student well-being and success

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Proven experience or training in social work, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage multiple cases with sensitivity and professionalism
• Familiarity with community resources and support networks
