Role Description
This is a part-time remote role, based in Toronto, ON, for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and overseeing financial audits. The role also involves developing financial strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with other departments to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills, including financial forecasting and analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and audit processes
- Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Effective leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a related role
- Experience in a corporate or nonprofit environment is an asset
