Registered Nurse to join our
Operating Room (OR) team in the
Atlanta, GA metro . The OR Nurse will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Pay: $75,049 -$95,085
Schedule: Flexible
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and properly set up.
- Assess patients before surgery, verifying their medical history, allergies, and pre-operative instructions.
- Provide intraoperative care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols throughout the surgical process.
Key Qualifications: - Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN).
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Previous experience as an Operating Room Nurse or in a surgical setting.
- Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR).
